- “So Tons?” (n.), (adj.) Pronounced soh-tuhns. So Tons means “A Lot.” It is a combination of “So Much” and “Tons.” See also Rad, Awesome, On Target, On Budget and The Best Decision You Have Ever Made.
- What are your capabilities? Where do we start? Let’s put it this way: If you want to put your logo on it, we can do it. From silkscreening, embroidery, die-sub and custom clothing to pad printing on pretty much anything. Awards, food products, fulfillment services, signage, trade show booths, you name it.
- What is your Shipping Policy? We do not ship from our Seattle location, but straight from the manufacturer’s location. We always use the best manufacturer for the job. In every instance we try to use a manufacturer in your area, but sometimes we can’t in order to get the best service and pricing for you. This means your order might ship from anywhere. If you need a shipping quote, simply ask! We are happy to provide them to make sure we stay within your budget. In most instances, drop shipping to individual locations is available. Prices vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and are based on the quantity of locations.
- What is your Return Policy? We do not accept the return of imprinted products with the exception of the following:
- a. Wrong imprint color
- b. Wrong logo
- c. Wrong item
- Do you reserve the right to refuse service? And why on earth would we want to do that? We don’t want to. Let’s keep this game nice, friendly, and reasonable. The list of items and services that we can provide is endless, but it doesn’t include everything. No pink ponies. Well, maybe, depending on the season.
- Do you charge for your time? Rarely do we charge for our time. We throw it in as a “Thank You So Tons!” However, there may be times where you need a sounding board or several hours of strategic marketing discussion. For that, we charge by the hour. These consultations will be discounted or at no charge if they’re followed up with an order.
- Why do I have to sign the Order Confirmation? We regard our order confirmations and estimates as contracts. If we send you an estimate, that price and information is as good as gold in our eyes. Same goes with an order confirmation. Please know that once you sign and fax back your order confirmation, you are signing a contract to proceed and if you cancel the order, you will be billed for any charges incurred up to that point.
- What if I need to make a change to an order? You are able to make as many changes to orders as you wish for no charge up until the point of returning the signed order confirmation to us. After that, the order is considered to be “in production” and you will be billed for any charges incurred up to that point.
- What is your Payment Policy? Each client is different. Usually we can put you on terms right away if your orders are under $5000. If your orders are above that, we may request a 50% deposit.
- What is your Proof Policy? We never allow the manufacturer to produce orders without a signed proof. However, there are rush instances where a proof must be waived in order to meet the event date. You will be required to sign a proof waiver and we will not move forward with production until it is returned to STC. We can discuss whether we think a paper/PDF proof or product proof is best depending on each order on a case-by-case basis.
- What about Overs and Unders? It is industry standard that all orders can be shipped with 10% overs or unders. This means that if you order 100 items, you may get 90 or 110 and will be billed only for what you received. Please understand that this is INDUSTRY STANDARD, therefore it is our standard as well. If you do not want over/unders or can’t accept that rule, we can ask for exact quantity, but there might be a small fee.
- Do you help with artwork? Absolutely! We provide logo conception and design solutions if you’re looking to rebrand or are just getting started with your brand. We listen to you, brainstorm with you, and refine all ideas into a final product that you will be proud to share with your clients. If you have a logo, image or other artwork that is not ready-to-use industry standard vector art (typically AI or other EPS format), we provide redrawing services as well.
- Can I get samples? We love samples. Oh boy. Love them. So do you. When we can get them free, they are free to you. We just ask that you pay for shipping. When we have to pay for them, so do you. We can always “tack” them onto your next order.
- Do you use Overseas Manufacturing? Do you need a large quantity? We can do it cheaper overseas. Do you want something so completely custom that we can’t find it anywhere? Do you have a lot of time? We can do it! The rules for overseas manufacturing are a little more stringent. Let’s talk about that, as it is different every time.
There are some rare instances where we can accept returns for unimprinted items. That is based solely on whether or not the manufacturer will accept returns. In many cases, there is a restocking fee for returning unimprinted items.
