Job Description:
Contract Sales Person for So Tons Creative. In charge of creating new client relationships. Main duties include: attending networking events as the face of So Tons Creative, cold or warm calling prospective clients to create new sales, negotiating pricing with vendors and manufacturers, writing up order confirmations for the client as well as purchase orders for the vendors, trafficking all of your own orders.
Experience Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 3-5 years experience in the ad specialty/promotional products industry
- Solid grasp of graphics and print basics
- Driven to sell, independent
- Sincere belief in the product

- Excellent project management skills. Ability to manage details and tight deadlines

- Understanding of and direct experience with branding and marketing
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to create win-win situations.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Make sales calls; develop and increase business and develop opportunities for new business
- Develop creative ideas for clients’ external marketing projects and internal employee incentive projects
- Promote and encourage ongoing programs and sales
- Work with vendors to ensure quality of products, get up-to-date information on the coolest, hottest trends, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality production and timely delivery of products
- Work within assigned budgets and tight deadlines
- Understand financial aspects of sales role and gross margins
- Maintain profitability
- Increase Sales – consistently grow the business within your established clients
- Encourage overall client relations – exhibit high levels of customer service to ensure smooth operations and happy customers
- Maintain ease of process and high levels of professionalism when interacting with the client, while allowing for flexibility and change within the office and client’s needs
- Produce high quality service and products
- Some local travel required
Compensation:
Contract sales employees are commission only at this time, however our commission structure is unbeatable for our industry.
Where, When:
Telecommute, make your own hours. Some traveling required to meet with clients as needed. Must provide your own laptop and cell phone to meet client mobility requirements as needed.
